Male aged 44. Six weeks history of right sided pleural effusion and right shoulder pain. Radiologically suspicious for mesothelioma. Vague asbestos history. Immunohistochemistry: Calretinin, CK5/6, MNF116 and CEA negative. CD34 and CD31 positive. Pleural biopsy.
Male aged 65. Peduncolated carinal growth. 12 months history of increasing cough and shortness of breath. No asbesto exposure. Background history of prostatic carcinoma with radiotherapy two years ago. Resection of tracheal carina.
